Australia’s Outback
Latest YouTube travel montage - Outback Australia trip of March/April 2018
I’ve uploaded a photographic panorama montage of my wife & I’s 2018 round trip across Australia’s interior - starting in Brisbane through New South Wales to South Australia, up to the Northern Territory back across to Queensland and down the coast returning home to Brisbane. During our six week half-circumnavigation of this ancient continent we crossed three States, one territory, amassed over 16,000 kilometres and saw first-hand timeless places of beauty including the Flinders Ranges, Uluru & Kata Tjuta, Kakadu, the Daintree, Fraser Island among others.

The music accompanying the video montage is “Freedom” by Anthony Hamilton & Elayna Boynton from the soundtrack of Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained. A brilliantly haunting yet poignant track that to me encapsulates the freedom and raw energy of being remote - in the Outback. Far from the bright lights, the creature comforts, the monotony and banality of modern life with all its trappings and pitfalls; you are immersed and ensconced in the raw, the real, the rugged - whether its the hinterland, the desert, the coast or the plains - you are given the opportunity to be yourself, test yourself, trust yourself and free yourself in the bush, the back n’ beyond, the Outback.
Hope you enjoy!
